Rehabilitation

It is important to understand that rehabilitation is a critical component of the recovery process following an injury or surgery. That's why we offer a range of rehabilitation services designed to help patients restore their strength, mobility, and function, and get back to the activities they love.

Our rehabilitation services include prehab, which involves working with patients before surgery to strengthen their muscles and improve their overall physical condition, in order to help them prepare for surgery and reduce their risk of complications. Prehabilitation aims to prevent post-surgical complications and enhance the recovery process by preventing the deterioration of muscles and tissues during the necessary periods of rest and recovery. We also offer rehabilitation services, which involve working with patients following their surgery or injury to help them regain their strength, mobility, and function, and get back to their normal activities as quickly and safely as possible.

In addition to prehab and rehab services, we also offer preventative strengthening programs, designed to help patients prevent injury or reinjury by strengthening their core and accessory stabilizing muscles. These programs can be particularly helpful for athletes or individuals with physically demanding jobs or hobbies with a lot of overhead work.

Finally, we work with range of motion restoration, which is designed to help patients regain their range of motion following rigid immobilization or soft bracing. Our experienced practitioners use a range of exercises and techniques to help patients gradually restore their range of motion and improve their overall mobility and function.

Our providers are committed to helping our patients achieve their health and wellness goals, and our rehabilitation services are just one way that we work to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and other physical challenges. Whether you're recovering from an injury or simply looking to improve your overall health and wellness, our experienced team of therapists is here to help you every step of the way.

Neurorehabilitation

Our neurorehabilitation services offer advanced treatment options for patients with neurodegenerative diseases or other pathologies of the nervous system. Our programs use Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) methods to evaluate patients' movement patterns in relation to normal childhood movement development. With DNS, patients begin with movements characteristic of 3-month-old newborns and progress through the beginning of crawling and walking in order to establish new healthy motor patterns. This method aims to retrain the nervous system to promote postural control and core stabilization, which ultimately leads to optimal positioning and movement.

Research has shown that neurorehabilitation with DNS can help improve postural control and core stabilization, leading to better overall physical function and mobility. Patients with a variety of conditions, such as hemiparesis following stroke, congenital motor control and proprioceptive abnormalities, trauma to the brain or spinal cord, structural or neuromuscular disorders, and neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Alzheimer's disease, and Huntington chorea, may benefit from our neurorehabilitation services.

Our skilled and experienced team works closely with patients to create personalized treatment plans that cater to their specific needs and goals. Our goal is to provide the highest quality care and support to help our patients regain mobility, independence, and an improved quality of life. If you or a loved one is seeking treatment for a neurological condition, our neurorehabilitation services may be able to help.
